Let Heaven and Nature Sing

Please join the Jameson Singers for Let Heaven and Nature Sing, an uplifting celebration of the meeting of angels and people, heaven and earth. Featured works include European Renaissance anthems and contemporary American folk tunes, such as Hosanna to the Son of David (Orlando Gibbons) and Hark, I Hear the Harps Eternal (Alice Parker). Seasonal favorites, including Ding Dong! Merrily on High; Infant Holy, Infant Lowly; and Ma’oz Tzur deepen the transcendent conversation, completed by intensely inspiring works by J.S. Bach (Vom Himmel hoch) and Franz Biebl (Ave Maria).

Bach: Magnificat

Join the Jameson Singers for a glorious program of music by Johann Sebastian Bach and his son, Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach. At the heart of the concert is J. S. Bach’s radiant Magnificat in D, surrounded by works that share its spirit of celebration and devotion, including the festive Gloria in excelsis Deo, the luminous motet O Jesu Christ, meins Lebens Licht, and C. P. E. Bach’s expressive Heilig.
