The 70-voice Jameson Singers is one of the premier vocal ensembles in the Boston area. United by a commitment to a beautiful choral sound, the group strives to connect singers and audiences alike through deeply moving musical experiences. The Jameson Singers was founded in 2010 by Jameson Marvin, former Director of Choral Activities at Harvard University. Currently under the leadership of Music Director Dr. Kevin Leong, the chorus continues to be committed to the excellent intonation, unified blend, and inspired, communicative singing for which it has gained critical acclaim. Their repertoire spans a cappella gems from the 15th to the 21st centuries, and choral-orchestral masterworks including those of Monteverdi, Schütz, Bach, Haydn, Mozart, and Fauré.

The Jameson Singers generally presents two programs each season. The December concert features mostly shorter, a cappella works, often with seasonal themes. The spring program ranges from sacred Renaissance gems and early American a cappella repertoire to major choral-orchestral works. Auditions are held in September and January, and rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings at Payson Park Church in Belmont. All rehearsal and concert venues are easily accessible via public transportation.

The Jameson Singers is a member of the Greater Boston Choral Consortium, a cooperative association of diverse choral groups in the greater Boston area.
